Description

This app was developed by the Associated of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO), and funded in part by an unrestricted educational grant from Ferring Pharmaceuticals, as a tool to help ob-gyn learners as they consider if and when to induce labor in their patients. All health and health-related information contained within the WellMom App is designed to be general in nature and based on published guidelines.

Learning Objectives
After completing the exercises in this app, the app user will be able to:

1) Properly employ an inpatient induction patient checklist and other resources to learn how to and teach how to determine if the patient is a candidate for induction and if so, appropriate method(s) for inducing labor; and

2) Properly employ a labor progress tracking tool where the user will enter data to generate a partogram that will teach him/her how to evaluate if an induction method is working.
