I’m a recently arrived expat in Vientiane. We’ve been very pleased with how the app works. Most drivers speak English

Trash app

Every time pay by mobile phone locapay charges fee! The fee is 2.5% plus 5000kip! ! So if it’s a small amount for a street food, the fee could go 11%! ! It’s crazy! I never saw any online payment charges fee! ! And it charges in USD so if your bank card currency is not USD, you lose more money from two times currency exchange ! And Loca taxi is 1.5 time more expensive than indrive! ! Local people don’t use Loca at All! They use BCEL one!
