Pango’s life is plenty of fun. And your child can join him and his cast of charming pals on some of his adventures, with Pango and friends – a stylish, interactive storybook.
Pango is a little blue raccoon with a knack for mischief – and he wants to be your friend, too. Tap a chapter to start playing: in one story, the order of the day is Rabbit’s birthday party and you and Pango need to make sure the candles are lit, the presents are wrapped and that the party is ready with a rousing chorus of Happy Birthday.
In another tale, the objective is to build a boat and get Pango to sail it: you need to raise the sail and untie the rope to get onto the open seas. When your friend Squirrel mislays his nuts, Pango knows what to do – he’ll launch a search party and have them all back in the basket (plus some extras) in no time.
When it’s time to put Pango to bed, your child might recognise the night-time routine: you need to find Pango’s blanket, tickle him and turn off the lights for sweet dreams.
The experience is simple and tactile: tap, shake or rub the objects and characters on the screen to propel the story forwards. The graphics are bright and friendly, and the soundtrack joyous and guaranteed to get your child clapping along. It’s a gentle education in storytelling, and developing spatial awareness, but more than anything, it’s an immersive world full of new friends.
