See the first app you ever downloaded

Looking to the future can fill us with excitement. Living in the present, with joy. But sometimes taking a trip down memory lane is the best way to create a warm, fuzzy feeling. And as true as this is in life, it also applies to apps.

As we each have our own favourite apps and games, our fondest app-based memories are going to differ on a personal level. But that doesn’t mean we can’t all enjoy the same journey. So who’s ready to rediscover the first app or game you ever downloaded?

To start, tap your profile icon in the upper right corner of the App Store’s Today, Games, Apps or Updates tabs.

Here, in your personal account page, tapping Purchased will automatically show you a list of all the apps you’ve downloaded to date in chronological order.

All that’s left to do is scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and revel in the nostalgia that ensues.

If the app or game is still on your device you can open it right away. If it’s one that you’ve since deleted or not added to your current iOS device – and if it’s still available on the App Store – you can tap the redownload button to crank your nostalgia session to 11.
