In one drag to the edge of your display, you size any app into half of the screen. And by dragging its windows to corners, you snap them into quarters. Sliding on the bottom edge creates thirds, or even sixths on ultra-wide monitors. Taking advantage of such arrangements eliminates app switching and greatly enhances workspace efficiency.
All commands can be triggered via keyboard shortcuts as well. You can find a predefined set of hotkeys under the menu bar icon, or create ones that fit your habits.

What a mess without Magnet
Magnet is the reason why I was able to become comfortable with my mac. If you don't know about Magnet and you are new to mac, you find flying windows making a big mess. It is even messier with the many desktops etc. Apple needs to seriously consider tydying its UI, it is very ancient and it is not evolving. the UI is still the number one annoyance for anyone who wants to use a mac. Magnet make things much better.
GREATEST TOOL
I installed this app because I wanted to quickly snap windows. However I got much more than that. This is a great that I generally recommend to anyone with mutliple monitors and/or who needs to manage many windows all at once. Great Job Devs!
