would be great if it gets a couple of updates
So i was looking for an app to play .mkv and .avi on ipad and i stumbled upon 2 applications, this one and another one called cinexplayer that only works for avi files. i got both. the other one was useless.
As for this one .avi played well on my ipad. However, regular mkv files for some reason kept crashing the app. 480p and 720p mkv files played horrubly. 480p files were about 4-5 frames late and 720p files were useless. i actually tried .rmvb files and they worked fine.Didnt try .wmv
So for avi it works pretty well most of the time , it did stutter sometimes but that was rare. .mkv files either crashed or played extremly slow . and rmvb worked
I think this app could be great if it can play .mkv files properly, beats converting every file i have, untill then ill keep using airvideo to stream my videos or convert files i intend to keep. Also the user interface is very ugly, when you open the app it opens a web browser, but i dont really care for that.
i give this app a 2.5 max for avi and rmvb support which surprised me.
