GraphoGame Lestrarleikur is a fun and adaptive learning tool that helps children learn the basics of reading! The game helps children practice letters, syllables, words and their sounds in this child-friendly educational game.

Through a variety of levels with your own unique player character, children feel engaged while they are developing alongside their graphical avatar. Players learn the graphemes and phonemes of vowels, consonants and syllables and eventually learn how to blend what they have mastered into complete words. Play at home or in school.
By playing at least 15 minutes regularly, the child will improve their letter knowledge, pronunciation, reading speed and overall confidence in Icelandic phonology.
GraphoGame has been researched in collaboration with the University of Jyväskylä, Finland.
