Description
Learn, refresh yourself or use as a teaching aid; on how to use the basic functions of Suunto Zoop Novo, Mares Puck Pro, or Oceanic VEO 4 dive computers.
The purpose of this app is to function as another teaching/training tool for both dive professionals and divers wanting to refresh their knowledge in the use of a selection of entry-level dive computers.
The app provides an interactive way for the specific functions/menus of the dive computers to be used and explored. In a much more intuitive way than reading a manual or watching a video tutorial.
We focus on 3 specific functions, which are foundations to using any dive computer for a RAID course:
• Activating & setup of Nitrox Mode
• Planning a dive
• Viewing logbook
Each of the above steps can be performed on any of the models in the App (Suunto Zoop Novo, Oceanic Veo 4.0, Mares Puck Pro); we selected these three as they are common entry-level or rental computers in the industry.
The app has ‘voice guidance’ (turned on by default, can be turned off in the settings screen), to aid the app's use and increase accessibility.
