The last update was really easy on the eyes, and productive. Especially when using on iPad.

Good app, good support !

Subscription model makes a lot of sense as they would keep improving better every year! Hope they keep up

Too expensive

Let me begin by saying the app is very good. The software is good and they keep updating which is also good. However I find the subscription getting more and more expensive year by year. When I first installed logten the cost was only $129 for 3 years and I got it with a discount for a little less than that. However my subscription just ended and when I was renewing it I realised the new subscription is $79.99 for a year and that too only for the iPhone and iPad. I’m very disappointed that they’ve increased the prices exponentially. And also I’m disappointed that they don’t have multiple year subscriptions. But it’s too late for me now my whole logbook is on their system and I don’t have much choice but to keep paying it. However if someone who’s starting to fly is thinking about getting it, my advice is stick to paper logbooks. If you don’t want to take my word for it do your research online and you’ll see many complaints other customers have had with regards to how money hungry logten can be.

Our pricing has been quite consistent at $79.99USD/year for LogTen Pro iPhone + iPad, and this is not changing. We did offer promotional 2 and 3 year options for a limited time, however we have discontinued them so that we can simplify further and make everything as easy as possible. A few other new things to note: All subscriptions are now annual, auto-renewing subscriptions, we now have a subscription level that will allow you to get iPhone + iPad + Mac with a single subscription, and student pilots are now going to be able to use LogTen Pro nearly through their commercial training for free! We're increasing the free time 600% from 40 hours up to 250 hours of total time.
This makes it much easier to get LogTen Pro on all platforms, and lowers the up front cost as well. Plus, now the Mac app will be a free download so people can try it out more easily. This is the conclusion of a 3 year transition to move LogTen Pro to a subscription model that enables more pilots than ever to use our leading professional pilot logbook.
