Description

Let's face it, social media isn't the force for good it once was. Algorithms that favor engagement over truth dictate everything we see, which in turn distorts our reality.

Amidst the chaos of conflict across Myanmar, it's increasingly difficult to keep tabs on what's happening where. Voices that deserve to be heard are drowned out by these very algorithms, trapping us in echo chambers.

But what if we could break free from these chains? “Myo!” was built to do just that.

The app lets you explore Myanmar based on location – from the broad scope of the country down to specific townships. No more algorithmic filters, just raw, real-time conversations spanning local to national levels.

For example, if you choose Yangon as your context, you can explore all Posts, Products, Services, and Jobs listed by people in the region.

But if you're interested in something more local to your area, like Yankin township, you can narrow your search to view only local posts and listings in that area.

Access to both local and broader contexts is crucial for connecting with your community, as well as for finding resources and opportunities that drive recovery and growth. This decentralized approach empowers communities to address their unique socio-economic challenges more effectively.
