EXCELLENT AND INNOVATIVE

It’s really great app, that make payments much. Easier and really fast, specially much convenient paying Dialog bills which update almost real time. Waiting expansion of the payment options and vendors. Even though CEB payments added it’s not passing through. Further the app updates which frequently appear a kind of disturbance since no option available as we can do it later, sometime I’m hurry pay up something and waiting more time update completed and login done again as it requires passwords.

Payments won’t get updated in real-time - worst mobile money app

Well I had to face this payment won’t get updated issue several times. When you use this app for your payments, you will receive notifications and sms’ stating payments are successful, but relevant sellers/opcos(mobile telco companies)/banks won’t get the money you just paid. Genie mobile app front end is fine but evidently the backend is totally useless with these issues. After you realize they haven’t paid, no contact number or customer care available to let them know the issue. Just a web portal to submit the issue and takes 2-3days for the to solve and receive a refund or pay the money to the relevant party. I have used this app several times and ,with this unreliability thought to share my issue and deleted the app. Hope they solve their backend issue.

Card verification

Genie is a very good and useful app. No need of carrying cards, entering card numbers and signatures. With a tap payments are done for the transactions. They have awesome promotions.

There is one main issue in Genie, that is when adding cards to the genie account there is a verification process. In that verification process when adding a card it prompts an amount which will deducted from the card and that amount will be reversed (refunded) immediately but this amount will never be reversed (refunded). Just think if a person adds many cards, he has to pass the verification process and how many times will the amounts be deducted and will never reverse (refund).

Please fix this issue as soon as possible. This will be helpful for all.
