Somebody help! Oh, thank goodness, you’re here. I’ve been trapped in this lab by men in white coats. They’ve been calling me Subject 6810, but my name is Tako. I may only have six tentacles but I’m still a bona fide cephalopod, with the smarts and the will to escape that my species is known for.
Speaking of escape, to my surprise, I’ve discovered I can teleport just by concentrating – almost anywhere, but not quite. There are parts of the tank that I can’t seem to pass through. I need someone who sees the bigger picture to get me out of here. Can you help? With that handy slider, you can switch between the inside and outside views of the tank. With your perspective and my teleportation powers, I might just find my way around those impenetrable walls, traps and obstacles.
It’s not done once I’m out of the tank though. I’ve seen a salamander on the other side of the lab who I have failed to establish communication with – perhaps those force fields in his tank have something to do with it. I’ve also heard the men talk about other sea creatures. I won’t leave them behind! Besides, they too might have useful abilities. I think there is a way out of this room. The door seems to be unlocked by portals I’ve spotted in all these different tanks with their own puzzling setup. Told you we hexapuses are smart. But who knows what lies beyond this door… Hear the footsteps? Someone’s coming! Quick, hide! But do come out when they’re gone – I could really use your help getting out of here.
