Description

Access the very first decentralised operating system - GRIDNET OS.

The app has been designed to serve as an authorization app for tasks performed within the decentralized GRIDNET Operating System. The default view is the augmented reality view in which QR Intents may be scanned.

Major capabilities are catered around scanning of QR Intents and processing of these. The app allows to generate a new wallet along with a master-private-key comprising a key-chain.

Despite its simplistic looks, the app supports state-of-the art cryptography data-exchange and routing capabilities including onion-routing. It may verify arbitrary operation done in GRIDNET-OS. It may also respond to data-queries and perform various computational tasks locally, directly on the mobile phone at the request of GRIDNET-OS. Such inquiries would typically be a result of user's activity either in Web-UI or Decentralized Terminal Interface (DTI over SSH).

The app allows to view details of the activity which is to be confirmed on the decentralized state-machine.

Sample computational scenario would include generation of multi-dimensional token pool. The token pool would be stored securely on the mobile phone while assets are released by responding to consecutive QR Intents. These assets may be used for arbitrary off-the-chain transactions, including rewarding for data-storage and exchange directly or indirectly (apps running within the Web-UI).

Encryption and authentication among communicating peers are employed at all times.

The app reports current user's balance and maintains connectivity with the decentralized GRIDNET OS virtual machine to account for changes.

Future updates are to include the functionality of issuing transactions directly from the mobile app.

Simple usage:
1) First, set-up your wallet by generating a new private/public key pair - it takes just a single tap, then confirm by holding the virtual fingerprint sensor for a few seconds.
2) The app would automatically attempt to connect with the GRIDNET OS decentralized network and synchronize account's balance.
3) Long-Tap the GRIDNET Halo to switch to standby mode in which the augmented reality view is not active.
4) Scan an QR Intent describing operating which are to be confirmed.
5) The Intent's details view would pop-up automatically with a general description. To see some of the details swipe left/right.
6) When ready confirm changes by holding the Virtual FIngerprint Sensor.
7) The app would prepare a cryptographic signature of the operations and deliver these to machines comprising the GRIDNET OS decentralized network over an encrypted and authenticated Onion-Routed connection.
8) The status of operation (connection, tunneling, processing etc) would be constantly displayed to the user within the UI as a progress bar containing textual information.

After the operation is complete or failed (for whatever reason) user may retry or close the pop-up.

What’s New

Version 2.2

1. Networking Enhancements
• QUIC Protocol Integration: We've fully implemented the QUIC protocol, replacing the previous UDT protocol. This provides multiplexed connections over UDP, offering reduced latency and improved congestion control compared to TCP-based protocols.
• Improved Transaction Broadcasting: Our overhauled broadcasting mechanism ensures maximum reliability. Transactions are now immediately stored in a local SQL database, and an AI subsystem manages transaction persistence and intelligent rebroadcasting.
• Onion Routing Support: Full implementation of Onion Routing, including web-browser endpoint support via web-socket connections. This significantly enhances user privacy and security.

2. Security and Cryptography
• Revised Cryptographic Protocols: We've implemented custom protocols based on Elliptic Curve Integrated Encryption Scheme (ECIES) and introduced a new Diffie-Hellman based session establishment protocol.
• PIN Protection: Users can now set a PIN for enhanced security, adding an extra layer of protection beyond existing biometric and password options.
• Improved Nonce Management: Our autonomous nonce management system now prevents replay attacks while allowing for rapid transaction sequences.

3. User Interface and Experience
• GRIDNET Halo Enhancements: The GRIDNET Halo has been revamped with advanced, reactive shader mechanics. New touch gestures include swipe left for Transaction History, swipe down to lock the app, and swipe up to unlock.
• Advanced Rendering Techniques: We've incorporated on-hardware, on-GPU custom rendering of UI elements, working seamlessly with standard Qt controls for fluid, high-performance animations.
• Improved Layout and Stability: The app's layout has been optimised for intuitive navigation and efficient use of screen real estate. We've also enhanced support for system buttons on various platforms.
• Computer Vision Enhancements: Our QR code recognition system has been optimised to achieve recognition times of less than 10ms under most lighting conditions.

4. New Features and Functionality
• Transaction History View: A new view displays all transactions associated with the current active identity, including those not issued from the current device. The history and account balance are automatically refreshed every few seconds.
• Sub-Identity Toggling: Users can now toggle between sub-identities, allowing quick switching between unrelated wallet addresses based on a single Master Private Key.
• AI Assistant (Hexi) Improvements: Hexi's AI algorithms have been enhanced to provide a more immersive and responsive experience, offering more contextual and helpful responses.
• Advanced Local Storage: We've implemented a self-maintained, advanced SQL-based storage subsystem for efficient data management, including comprehensive transaction tracking and state updates.

5. Performance and Stability
• Networking Subsystem Overhaul: Our networking subsystem now maintains multiple connections with multiple nodes simultaneously, improving network resilience and transaction propagation speed.
• Transaction Monitoring and Management: The app continuously monitors the state of broadcasted transactions, providing real-time updates to the user and intelligently re-broadcasting failed transactions.
• Optimisation: We've made extensive improvements to stability and responsiveness across a wide range of devices, optimised memory usage and battery consumption, and implemented crash analytics for quick issue resolution.

This major update to the GRIDNEToken mobile app pushes the boundaries of what's possible in a blockchain mobile application. We've delivered a product that sets new standards for security, performance, and user experience.

We deeply appreciate your continued support and feedback as we strive to deliver the best possible product to our users. If you encounter any issues or have suggestions for future improvements, please don't hesitate to reach out to our support team.
