The Angry Birds and Sonic team up!
The world’s fastest hedgehog meets the most combative birds around in the crossover we’ve been dreaming of. Sonic and the original Angry Bird, Red, are teaming up – with help from their eclectic friendship circles – to fight some familiar bullies from these iconic gaming universes, Dr. Eggman and the Bad Piggies.
Quick take: The piggies are up to no good, again, sneakily stealing the birds’ eggs using a new teleport device. When they inadvertently open a gateway to the Sonic universe, they team up with Dr. Eggman to create an even bigger mess. Red and the Angry Birds follow them and find an ally in Sonic as they try to get the pigs back to Piggy Island.
When it’s happening: This electrifying adventure takes place across multiple limited-time events happening from now until 21 March in five of the most popular games from the franchises:
Sonic Dash
Beloved Red and the fast-talking, fast-fighting Chuck will be playable characters in this frenetic infinite runner, along with Sonic and crew. Collect Angry Birds–themed items to unlock amazing prizes.
Angry Birds 2
Power up against those pesky pigs using the Sonic the Hedgehog Spell, which dazzles the green guys with golden rings. There’s also an exclusive Sonic Friends Hat Set for the birds to get their beaks into on themed levels.
Sonic Forces
Want to stop Dr. Eggman? Unlock Red or Chuck, who have special attacks, traps and boosts, and team up with Sonic for the fight, all while getting exclusive prizes. Win win!
Angry Birds Friends
Sonic, Knuckles and others join forces with the Angry Birds in an epic battle against Dr. Eggman and the piggy army. Make use of Sonic’s speed and the Angry Birds’ might to beat your friends and other players.
Angry Birds Dream Blast
The bubbly adventure gets a little more high octane in Sonic’s Flash Race. Make it across 10 challenging levels in record time and you’ll get a cool prize.
