Its a great app, just few things are missing like control apple pen pressure curve or more options to turn off that help bar on top of the screen to have more space, especially on smaller ipads.
Do I need one?
The app is pretty decent. Since I started uploading to artstreet, I thought that I might as well use the “official” app for it. I love the selection of screentones, and overall the app is decent, but it also has some important things missing and some tools very uncomfortable to use. What is missing, for starters — you can’t name your canvases. It is such a simple function and since the folders are premium-only, I need some way to organise my works or just to know what I drew there(since I draw quite a lot). Then there’s a tool that is very uncomfortable to use — the text tool. It is the worst I have used yet. First — for some reason it REQUIRES internet connection(that doesn’t make any sense), then it’s just very slow and awkward to use. I’m trying to write dialogues for manga style comics and this tool makes the process very annoying and not at all fun. I like the selection of fonts and the function that all letters will be turned into capital letters if you want them to, but the rotation of text is done using a slider instead of manually controlling the rotation with your pen or fingers and it loads for a while, same with all the other things. This tool is just very ungraceful and uncomfortable to use.
I like some stuff about this app and I plan to continue using it, but please fix or implement these things I mentioned because, the current state of them is ruining the experience of me using this app.
