Getting started couldn’t be easier

Install the app and start controlling your light right away – no registration and no account required. You will only need an account for the use of specific functions like voice control or on-the-go control. Please note that a Zigbee product must be reset before connecting to the smik gateway if it has already been on another Zigbee network.

Manage your world of light with ease

The smik app allows you to organise your smart Zigbee lamps, luminaires and smart plugs into areas or groups. You can even assign devices to multiple areas at the same time. Compatible Paulmann accessories can be added at any time. You can map your personal world of light in minutes and the app also supports dark mode to protect your eyes.

Your personal feel-good lighting for every mood

Switching, dimming, colour change – for individual luminaires or several light sources at once: use white hues and millions of colours for your personal lighting experience. Pre-set and user-defined scenes can be accessed quickly to match your mood or your personal daily rhythm. For example: start your day with gentle, warm white light, increase your concentration throughout the day with daylight white illumination, and wind down in the evening with dimmed, relaxing red-orange hues.

Flexible voice control and on-the-go control options

The smik lighting system lets you control your lighting via the smik app, as well as via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant using your voice: switch on lamps and change colour temperatures in seconds! More traditional control options like the customisable Paulmann Smart Switch or the Paulmann Gent remote control are also available. And while you are on the go, you can control your smik world of light at home at any time via the internet connection on your smartphone.

Comfort thanks to automation

Set up automated routines that make manual interactions obsolete: do you want your bathroom to welcome you with bright light when you get up in the morning? Would you like to set up a night light for a specific length of time to be later replaced by an invigorating morning light? No problem at all. You can set a fixed time as a trigger, or specify sunrise or sunset instead. Or you can use our HCL Cycle, which enables time-dependent, automated adjustment of the desired white tone and brightness over the course of the day. You can use a timer to automatically switch off your bedside reading light.
