We will release Shapr3D 3.0 later in 2017. That will be a huge step forward. Make sure to update when it is released!
Could be better
+: easy to learn, very accurate in dimensions, similar to solidworks, good for modelling for cnc/3D printing
-: no possibility of polygons = cant create organic/dynamic shapes and forms, small variety of tools. Based only on simple shapes and those you draw on 2D scale, so no pretty curvy lines
If in the future polygons will be added, this could replace pc modelling. No need for render possibility.
tutorials
before beginning to use this app, there's a selection of interests. i wrote "everything" because of variety of uses i'm interested in. however, it gave me only one "Basics" tutorial - the mechanical one. i also would like to try furniture and architectural one. uninstalling/deleting and reinstalling does not give me an option to choose anew, and other tutorials remain inaccessible. when you say in the beginning, before using the app, that choice of interest only affects tutorials, why not make those tutorials available to everyone? i.e., architectural and furniture design often comes hand in hand. i'd find it useful to access other turorials, that is, if there really are more than just the one i was given.
fourth update in about one week? and seems these updates are 600-700 mb each.

Hi there, the app is the same for all users, with the same Tools. The chosen interest only determines the first onboarding video you get after you have installed the app. You can find all other onboarding videos on the Learn section of the app discover page
