Great app, better co-op with restaurants
App itself is great, support is very fast and amazingly modern. In a few times I’ve used it so far - one restaurant refused the order:
You customize it for 10 minutes, selecting toppings, select location, confirm & pay, get a message “ chill out and wait for your food” and 5 minutes later it is declined. Y the restaurant with a message “too busy”
I thought the whole point of Wolt was to get more orders:) in any case it would be great to see live status of the restaurant while I’m doing the order to minimize possible frustration:)
When will they change?
This company is becoming terrible. There has not been a time that I received my order without food being cold, a spilled drink or something not missing. Every single time the food is delivered by some foreigners who don’t speak neither Lithuanian nor English. Their couriers are missing basic human interaction skills, sometimes even throwing food on the ground for you. When you contact the support they keep giving you Wolt credits back, but when will they realise that it’s not about getting a refund, but receiving the food in a proper and edible condition. If you are a food delivery company, you have one job - how hard is it to train new people to do the job properly and at least tell them that it’s custom to hand food to people and not throw it on the ground. Definitely not using this service ever again as it has been going on for way too long now and nothing changes.
Wolt is great but app has technical issues
I use iphone 12 pro max and app freezes every time when I place an order. If I close the app, open it and go to the order - it freezes again if it has not yet been viewed bu the restaurant. When placing order is also the time when I get offered to “turn on notifications” and that option is not available in settings. So additional in having to restart the app every time - I am unable get notifications about my order. Sometimes it is possible to accept notifications in-app but I delete this app from time to time when I don’t plan to use it for a while.
