Calendar Notifications Toggle: You can now easily enable or disable Calendar notifications directly within the Canary Mail app. Head over to Preferences > Notifications and look for the new "Calendar Notifications" toggle located after Smart Notifications.
This update gives you more control over your notifications and keeps your inbox organized. We hope you enjoy this update!

Let down by poor fit & finish
I used Canary for a year, but have gone back to the first-party app. While Canary improves on Mail in a number of ways, its edges persist in being too rough: stuff like not including photos explicitly selected in another app's share sheet; occasional defaulting to yellow on white text when composing; refusing to display a forwarded message body …

Poor customer service
Doesn't work with my Exchange account. Contacted their customer support. Had to send screenshots, logs and test results. Took them one week just to tell me that they are not able to open an xml file (!!!) and read the connectivity test results.
After several more days, the conclusion was that the problem is not their app, but wrong account login details (never mind that the same account and login work perfectly in their own app on the Mac as well as in Spark, Apple Mail and Airmail on iOS.)
