Scrolling News Ticker
I’ve tried a few of these ticker apps, some rather more expensive but so far this is the one that comes the closest. If you look at the screenshots, that’s pretty much what it does but you can take rss feeds from anywhere and have them displayed ticker style on your desktop.
I am hoping the author will be taking this further since I think there’s really a gap in the market for something that does the ticker thing really well.
A nice little app, well worth my 89 cents. Only 4 stars because I would like to see it do more.
Updating this on 01/05/14. I gave the author some feedback on things I’d like to see and item 1 has appeared in release 1.0.2. It now goes to full screen width on my big screen iMac. If he carries on like this the extra star is arriving soon.
