TwelvePoint is a screenwriting app, distraction-free, minimalist with a focus-oriented environment that gives you the possibility of working on the story structure, the content and the resources, all in one place.

We developed TwelvePoint having in mind the core needs of writers and screenwriters of all levels and to take full advantage of the capabilities of a Mac (fullscreen mode, split windows, multi-windows, multi-displays).

With TwelvePoint you can design and publish screenplays, stage plays, books (fiction or non-fiction) and comic scripts. Your stories can be exported in a variety of formats (txt, rtf, html, pdf, fdx and EPUB).

TwelvePoint gives you total control over your story with a 360-degree-view that helps you focus on the details that matter.

Manage the structure of your script easily, like working with files and folders. The app takes care of formatting, layouts, and organising paragraphs across multiple pages, so you can focus on writing the story.
TwelvePoint for macOS is 100% compatible with the iOS version (sold separately) and comes with industry standards available by default (American, French, Italian, Korean, Right-To-Left). Additional configurations can be created and shared with other users.

Evaluate your script according to predefined key indicators together with those you defined. For example you could evaluate the cost of your script during production, the engagement of the characters, the objects used on stage.

- Storyboards are a visual tool to help you build your story step-by-step, while resources management lets you create your characters, locations, timelines, add features, details, and notes.

- Workspaces let you reconfigure the project window according to pre-built settings, so you can quickly access storyboards, additional information, publishing settings, and more.

- Filtering content lets you easily search and organise your story by roles, locations, spoken text, tags. And, you can add thickness to your story by introducing new elements such as side stories, additional character features, or guidelines.

TwelvePoint allows you to import existing scripts from various formats: txt, rtf, html, doc or docx, fdx or fdxt (Final Draft formats). Publishing is a breeze, with cover pages that are automatically included in each published scenario and can be customised to your liking. Scripts are rendered by default as PDF and RTF (Rich Text Format) and can be shared via e-mail, iCloud, or just archived locally in a folder. Scenarios can also be exported as simple text files (txt), Html, Final Draft Project (fdx, fdxt) or EPUB (ready for online self-publishing).

TwelvePoint is designed to support multiple languages. The user interface (menus, tutorials, help) is available in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, Russian, Spanish, and Turkish. Scenarios can be written and published in any language supported by the device (e.g., Russian, Japanese, Chinese, Korean). The user interface has been designed to support right-to-left (RTL) writing systems (e.g., Arabic, Hebrew).
