Weak p2p regulations and culture
Using Binance primary for cross-border transfers. More than half of the deals in p2p went wrong in at least some way. A lot of traders use third-party transactions without even hiding this fact, even though the rules state that it’s strictly prohibited. Some impose very strange requirements for a trade that look very much like scam (e.g. send the photo of the card, record a video in the bank app, etc.). My mother is facing the same problem.
I did report some traders using third party transactions, but got absolutely no feedback about the cases.
Overall, it’s very exhausting to trade via the platform since there’s always a good chance of coming across a problematic counterparty.
