Iphone 12 pro max
Unstable work. Scenes randomly dissapers and appears, thats why siri shortcuts also works randomly.
Main annoying thing. Can reach app options in corners of phone - especialy upper left and right, back and safe options, because its very close to phone time and phone battery icon.
eWeLink is unstable on iPhone 11
In general, idea is very good, but only basic functionality is stable. For more complicated functionality (e.g. automated scenes or widgets) application can stop working at any moment.
During last couple of months I had at least following issues:
- widgets added via Apple Shortcuts application work for some time, and then just stop working, without any error messages. You have to delete shortcut, and create it again. And there is no possibility to add eWeLink widgets directly, you have to use for example Apple Shortcuts or IFTT (and for IFTT you have to pay for eWeLink Advanced account).
- created eWeLink scenes can disappear from application, so all your automated scenarios stop working. Sometimes scenes can appear again, after several restarts of eWeLink, but sometimes you have to define your scenes again.
- some devices don’t have all promised functionality. For example, Sonoff RF Bridge and DW1 door sensor can show only “door is opened” event, but on the DW1 package (and in user manual) it is stated that it can send also tamper, low battery and “door not closed” messages
Smart switch is great
Sonoff products are great invention and it’s easy to install app is bit tricky but you can get used to app
