Description

Use Gabriel® to block pesky calls, detect spam SMS messages, avoid fraud numbers/spoof calls, and protect your friends and family.

Gabriel® uses real-time information provided by users to determine which calls and SMS messages are dangerous. Users crowdsource the data by simply tapping the safe/unsafe button. This information helps to protect the entire community. Users who participate in the network, earn reward points that can be redeemed for gift cards.

Gabriel® uses the SMS Fraud Extension to block or filter messages based on criteria if text messages contain suspicious phrases such as “you won the lottery,” “your account has been suspended,” and “we are having problems with your account” alongside with 2000+ other phrases in 28 languages taken from Gabriel® database.

Privacy and Data Protection

Gabriel® does not sell or share your information with anyone for any purpose. An optional registration is included to redeem reward points, perform automated complaint filing, and registering your phone in the Do Not Call lists of 7 different countries. Except for the display name, this information is stored only on your phone and not on our servers.
