The Robinson EMU App gives pilots, operators, and maintenance personnel the capability to wirelessly connect to the onboard EMU unit on properly-equipped Robinson model R22 and R44 helicopters to view certain aircraft health parameters recorded during operation.
The Robinson EMU App will indicate if any of these parameters have recorded values in excess of the specified limits published in the Pilot’s Operating Handbook (POH).
To connect, the user must have a compatible iPad with a Bluetooth connection and the aircraft must be equipped with a Robinson part number D270-1 Governor Controller, Revision C or subsequent.
