Sim is a camera rental and post production company constantly calculating data rates, timecode, internet transfer times. There are many tools on the market that offer this functionality, but none that work as an all in one solution. Most are not up to date with the latest cameras and flipping between various apps is a pain. Therefore we created the Sim DATA Calculator. Within this app you can:
- Compare various camera data sizes, side by side
- Calculate how long it would take to send that media over the internet
- Copy results from calculations to your clipboard for use in other apps
- Calculate data consumption for an entire tv show or movie in one step
- Calculate and visualize complex framing variations
