What Were Dinosaurs Like?

Jurassic games for kids

View

For children who are into dinosaurs (all of them, right?) What Were Dinosaurs Like? is both fun and informative. It will teach children all about the prehistoric giants through simple challenges and games.

On starting the app, children can choose to learn about carnivores, herbivores, flyers or find out about paleontology, all through interactive animations.

Pick what you want to learn more about.

The flyers? section, for example, (which is titled with a question mark because, as you’ll learn, the flying prehistoric beasts – pterosaurs – are not actually considered to be dinosaurs) explains that these creatures were the ancestors of our modern day birds.

But, as well as a wealth of information, each area of the app has little tasks. Your children can test themselves to try to match the correct names to each of the creatures. They can help the pterodactylus eat a fish in the flyers? area, dig for fossils and clean up bones in the paleontology section or arrange the grizzly carnivores in order of size.

Learn fun facts about dinosaurs.

So, when your children ask, “What were dinosaurs like?” you can let the app explain why they were, undoubtedly, awesome beasts.
