A judgment creditor has the legal right to seize bank accounts and take other actions against debtors assets. A money judgment entitles the winning party to use many powerful legal tools to
collect the money through the court system. A few ways are performing an Income garnishment, property can be taken and sold, bank accounts can be frozen and seized, driver’s licenses can be suspended. But the sad truth is most winners in court don’t know how or where to begin.
That’s where Find It comes in! We have simplified the search process by performing a main skip trace which is a focus in on the banks. Which from our experience in the Judgment Enforcement industry, is the most successful and promising direction to take resulting in locating ones assets. Along with tracing a bank account, extra information comes with that such as Debtors job information if there is one to provide.
Seizure of Bank Accounts:
Checking, savings or even mutual fund accounts. Anything in the account(s) at the time the bank is notified must be frozen and then turned over.
Typically the winning party, Creditor, can transfer ownership to someone else, usually an attorney or a judgment recovery specialist to enforce the won lawsuit. In doing this, the winning party is signing over up to 50% of the awarded amount on their judgment. Using Find It eliminates having to do that!
