Q-interactive is excited to announce the release of the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale®, Fifth Edition (WAIS®-5), the most advanced tool for measuring cognitive abilities. This update brings enhanced clinical utility, updated norms, and an improved user experience.

Key Updates Include:

Broader construct coverage for working memory, fluid reasoning, and processing speed.

Expanded index scores for clearer interpretation

Nonverbal Index, Nonmotor Index, and Motor Reduced Processing Speed Index.

New Subtests:

Set Relations: A Fluid Reasoning subtest that evaluates deductive reasoning and logical thinking.

Running Digits: A Working Memory subtest focused on assessing auditory working memory.

Naming Speed Quantity: A Processing Speed subtest that measures the efficiency of numerical processing fluency in recognizing and labeling quantities.

Spatial Addition: A Visual Working Memory subtest that tests the ability to manage spatial information and ignore distractions.

Symbol Span: A fully digital subtest designed to assess visual working memory, emphasizing mental imagery and spatial positioning.

Additional Platform Enhancements:

Automated picklist scoring now assigns scores automatically, streamlining the scoring process.
