Description

Learn about the people and events that shaped the building of the village of Wakefield while strolling, biking or driving through the town!

The tour officially starts at Fairbairn House on the north side of the Wakefield Covered Bridge, but you can open the app while walking through the Village and get prompts when you approach a tour stop. Note that the stops around the Mill are accessed via a 650 metre uphill climb. The tour ends at the corner of Riverside and Ch. de la Vallée de Wakefield, and will take approx. 1.5 hours to complete on foot.

If you prefer, you can 'tour' the village virtually from your device. The app will lead you from stop to stop, or you can jump around the stops from the map view. We hope you enjoy the experience, however you choose to explore!

For questions or technical issues, please email info@fairbairn.ca, or call (819)778-3392.
