Description
MikroTik RouterOS is the operating system of RouterBOARD and CCR devices.
RouterOS provides all the core features for your network - routing, firewall, bandwidth management, wireless access point, backhaul link, hotspot gateway and more.
Use the MikroTik smartphone app to configure your router in the field, or to apply the most basic initial settings for your MikroTik home access point.

Ideal for 2016+ macbook pro
The best part is that even the first setup can be done from your mobile app. Just switch on the router, find the Wi-Fi network (it should be named Mikrotik) and connect to. Then pen the app and connect, keeping the default credentials (IP: 192.168.88.1, user: admin and no password).
Then I personally selected the automatic configuration and then just followed the quest, wich is very intuitive.
Everything took about 30 second.
No need for LAN cables, adaptors from LAN to USB-C.
