VA Kinetic Sentinel Advance 4+

This app is required for standalone device configuration by an installation engineer within an offline environment.

This app is also needed by home users who have a Kinetic device within their home and they will use the app to control and read data from the unit.

The app has the Following features:


-- App physical device connectivity via BLE initially moving onto Wi-Fi using the Kinetic device's embedded access point

-- Two types of users - selectable via the profile setup - A Home User & an Engineer user.

-- Commissioning Wizard - UK -This commissions and sets up the unit with the correct flow ratings for intake and extract. This is a legal requirement for signing off houses in the uk for ventilation certifications. An Engineer would commission a unit before a new house build has been 100% completed and before a home user has the keys and moved in.

-- Commissioning Free Flow - Here an engineer would setup a house/ flat environment and use measurement tools to understand the correct values to be entered within the app. These then can be saved and re-used to commission the same apartment etc again.

-- Fan speed Modes

--System overview : Shows current fan speed, Humidity , Current Co2 and ~Temperature.

--Zone Manager : Setup and configuring different zones within the home - Bedrooms, Bathrooms, Kitchen etc.

--Device Manager : Connections to external temperature / Co2 sensors - showing pair /unpair options and device Firmware.

--Filter Manager : Highlights to the user the type and interval for changing filters. Provides an option to buy filters and reset intervals.

--Services Details : Provides comparing information regarding servicing schedules and contact information

--Holiday Mode : Energy Saving feature providing an option to turn the unit to low or off during a time where the home user will be on holiday.

--Silent Hours : Provides the home user the ability to reduce the devices noise whilst e.g. asleep

--About Device : Current device statistics, serial numbers etc

Advanced Settings -Mode Speeds : Provides granular adjustment to fan speeds for home and engineer users.

Advanced Settings -IAQ Manager : Provides granular adjustment to Humidity, Co2 and fan RPM combinations in order to provide precise settings per location.

Advanced Settings -Mode Speeds : Night-time Cooling - Provides granular adjustment and threshold configurations based on external and internal temperatures. Provides a summer bypass of the heat exchanger to provide cooling when the desired indoor temperature is above the ambient temperature.

Advanced Settings -Port Allocation : Provides the home user and Engineer the ability to map a port to a type of ventilation mode required. e.g Continuous fan mode. Other options include , PIR , Momentary switch & Fire Alarm. 0v -10v Outputs for types of Sensors including Co2, Temp, Humidity, Pure


Advanced Settings -Service Manager : Kinetic device information such as firmware versions, Serial Numbers, App Version, Commissioning by and Date.


Advanced Settings -Data Manager : Realtime data displayed on Airt Supply and Extract , Running hours and cell data.

Advanced Settings -Firmware Manager : Provides the ability for an Engineer and Home User to upgrade the Kinetic Advanced unit to the latest firmware via the app.

Advanced Settings -Save/Load config : This feature allows an engineer create a config for a house or apartment and then re-use that config to apply it to other houses and apartments which are of the same floorplan and design.

Advanced Settings -Pin lock Manager : Provides the ability to lock out technical information in which only engineers have access to and in which tenants for example are not allowed to adjust.

Advanced Settings -Commission Report : This details the commission report and provides the engineer the ability to share that via e.g email in order to certify an installation.
