Description
A rig-trim-simulation for small sail boats with built-in example data for the 420 class. You can change the length of the forestay or the length of the shrouds. Spreaders are also adjustable. Absolute values and diff values for trim output will be displayed.
The graph always shows the current situation. By introducing a joint where the spreaders are attached to the mast, the structure is modeled as a mechanical linkage. The simulation is instructive and nothing else is claimed.
