What is the Flame of Love Movement?

Elizabeth Kindelmann, the Secular Carmelite and widowed mother of six to whom Mary and Jesus entrusted the mission of spreading this movement, asked this very question. Our Lady said: “My Immaculate Heart’s Flame of Love is Jesus Christ Himself!” The Blessed Virgin Mary explained to Elizabeth that She obtained from the heavenly Father, by the merits of the Passion of her Most Holy Son, an outpouring of graces so great as have not existed since the Word of God became Flesh (the words of our Most Holy Mother). She explained that She will blind Satan with the Flame of light and grace which bursts forth from her Immaculate Heart. This Flame must enkindle all hearts. Through Elizabeth, She tells us what we must do to collaborate with her in this great endeavor. The Most Blessed Virgin Mary asks us for prayers, sacrifices, holy hours in the family, and fasting to help her in this fight against evil.

The very purpose of the Movement is to break Satan’s hold on souls, so that souls can be open to receiving an outpouring of grace implored by Our Lady. This grace that we will receive enables Mary, as Mother of God and of Humanity, to form Christ more fully in each heart. With Christ more fully formed in our hearts, the world will be prepared for the Triumph of Her Immaculate Heart, which will thus invoke a Second Pentecost, and will lead to a greater indwelling of the Holy Trinity in souls. Mary said Herself, “Since the Word became Flesh, I have never given such a great movement as the Flame of Love that comes to you now. Until now, there has been nothing that so blinds Satan.”
