Reset password bad UX
Hey guys, I really appreciate the great work you are doing, but there are some bits that are simply frustrating.
I tried resetting my password. I received the email immediately and clicked on the link where i was asked to enter new password. All good.
Besides not asking me to confirm my new password which is frustrating because i might have mistaken it (and lets be honest, who would click the eye icon to view what they are typing, a typically millennial doesn’t have the nerves for such thing), you are not even warning me when I enter more characters than possible. I ended up thinking that my password i’ve set is the 17 chars one, and the limit is less the 17 chars and you have cut off my last letter! I’ve reset my pass 4 times until figuring out by myself what the issue is. And i know what you ate going to say: ‘oh, but we show a warning message once what the pass limits are’. But at the time you are showing that message, i can’t care less for that.
I am managing mobile apps development and I know how sometimes we are focused on big challenges and skip the quick improvements, but this is really frustrating. Please fix it.
