You need to start writing or you’ll lose your mind. Other word processors create documents. Purplenotes creates LOGS. Logs are like tiny documents. They’re quicker to make and read, they’re time-stamped and they’re listed in a feed, like a social network. But it’s more like a word processor because everything stays totally private, stored locally on your phone. It’s just built for lots of little entries.
Writing is good for the brain. It’s more than just a hobby. People who like to write need to write as often as possible. Logging is fast, fun, and free. You can log your thoughts and feelings as they come up and read them again later. Logs aren’t just a way to keep track of your experiences. I hate losing my ideas and if I don’t log them, they’re gone. Unless you have a perfect memory already you need to write things down, the more often the better. You can move it to your home screen if you like to log all the time. Ready?
