“云上科普APP”宗旨在以科普内容建设为重点，充分依托现有的传播渠道和平台，使传统科普与科普信息化建设融合，提升社会科普公共服务水平。
云上科普APP主要特色：
1、在线问答，一对一指导：“云上科普APP”开通在线咨询通道，为科普用户提供咨询直通车，用户可以使用文字、视频、图片、语音或预约等多种方式向“内蒙古科学技术协会的专家”提出问题，专家将进行在线解答。
2、科普资源精准推送：“云上科普APP”内容丰富多彩、包罗万象，涵盖医疗卫生、心理健康、科学育儿、饮食健康、农作物种植、畜牧养殖等海量科普知识。建立农作物种植、畜牧养殖本地化专业知识库，实现知识精准推送。
3、专家在线直播，沟通“零”距离：定期邀请专家进行线上科普活动，直播方式以趣味科普类型与粉丝沟通互动。线下进行“专家走进盟市旗县科普传播行”等科普讲座，对区内不同地区农作物种植及畜牧养殖方面着重进行指导。
