Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them ride mowers. And, in It’s Literally Just Mowing, you are one such cape-free Samaritan.
Cruising from one unruly suburban lawn to the next, you’re a lone landscaper riding in to shave – er, save – the day. Playing as either Marv (a lover of lazy afternoons) or Maisie (a fan of gardening and crime novels), you need to swipe to steer your mower over every patch of overgrown turf.
As you get each yard in order, neighbours will yelp in delight. Flowers will pop up in formerly barren garden plots. Keep trimming and you’ll unearth butterflies and cool new mower parts.
Whether you prefer orderly rows or chaotic cuts, the mowing life proves wonderfully meditative and surprisingly relaxing, even when you graduate to bigger, trickier lawns. There are no penalties for smacking into walls, no time constraints and, best of all, no allergies.
