If you scrambled up Scrabble, added some anagrams and threw in a dash of online competition, you’d end up with this.
Over five rounds of Wordzee!, two players compete to play the highest-scoring words by building them from the letter tiles dished out at the start of each round.
Each letter has a different value, and the game board has double and triple word scores to hit as well. However, you only get to play each row on the board once, so careful thought is required – games quickly get tense and tactical as you watch your opponent’s score match your own.
You can play quick matches with no pauses, or traditional-style games with breathers between rounds. (This is when players get the chance to chat.)
And if you’d rather play solo, Wordzee! has you covered. There are tons of daily challenges, competitions and leaderboards to climb without having to butt heads with anyone else.
Wordzee! really shakes up the word game formula – rather apt for a game full of anagrams.
