Lymphocytes are white blood cells that are also one of the body’s main types of immune cells. They are made in the bone marrow and found in the blood and lymph tissue. The normal lymphocyte range in adults is between 1,000 and 4,800 lymphocytes in 1 microliter (µL) of blood. Unusually high or low lymphocyte counts can be a sign of disease.
Absolute Lymphocyte Count (ALC) calculator is an app that help medical practitioner to calculate number of lymphocytes and predicts CD4 count. Absolute Lymphocyte Count (ALC) is a hematologic principle that has been validated in an emergency setting. Absolute Lymphocyte Count (ALC) is correlated with CD4 count.
