ClimateMap provides information on physical climate risks anywhere in the world.
ClimateMap by S&P Global Sustainable1 transforms access to climate change physical risk information by providing users the ability to explore the impact of climate change physical risk hazards on a specific location. The physical risk exposure scores utilize S&P Global’s industry-leading data and science-based models to represent the exposure of a location to nine climate hazards (e.g., flooding, extreme heat, etc.) over time and across climate change scenarios. The exposure scores range from 1, indicating the least exposed locations on earth, to 100, indicating the most exposed locations for each hazard. Exposure Scores provide a basis for global comparison, ranking a local hazard value relative to hazard values across all locations, scenarios, and decades for which comparable information exists.
