HSK1 by KiddyPop is a comprehensive Chinese Proficiency Test App providing kids with 150 basic Chinese characters.
This Free KiddyPop HSK1 interface is specially designed for children who start learning Chinese. This is due to the fact that this app provides a nice image for each words as well as example sentence for kids to easily memory.
KiddyPop choose the basic Chinese characters for kids to study from HSK, Chinese Standard Exam, which is a national standardized test. There are totally 150 basic words from this level. KiddyPop separates 150 words into 4 parts in order that there are not too load for kids to study. Each part contains around 35-45 words or characters which shown in Hanzi, Pinyin and English with audio sound. And this is the first part.
At main menu you will see all words providing in this part and if you click on word or character you can see its definitions as well as example sentences with mp3. Otherwise, you simply click “Play Now” button for studying all characters respectively.
Simply follow KiddyPop app to help you child practice writing, reading and listening in Mandarin Chinese. Remember that “if you want to learn something, practice, practice and practice it again and you will get better” so let’s you children have FUN with studying at least 5 words a day for a guided personal journey.

Brief info about HSK Level1 (Chinese Proficiency Test)
The HSK (Level I) is intended for anyone who have studied Chinese for a semester (half an academic year), with 2-3 class hours in each week.
These students have mastered 150 commonly used words and basic grammar patterns.
HSK level 1 test takers can understand and use very simple Chinese phrases, meet basic needs for communication and possess the ability to further their Chinese language studies.
The test is made up of listening comprehension and reading comprehension sections and contains a total of 40 items. The test will last for 40 minutes in total (including 5 minutes in which the test takers fill in personal information). For the HSK (Level I), three results will be provided including listening, reading and total. The test taker must score at least 120 points total to be considered passing. s a Chinese language certificate for foreign students entry into Chinese colleges, the results of the HSK are valid for two years (beginning from the test date).
