“District of Namysłów Mobile Guide” app provides descriptions of several dozen historic objects which have recently undergone renovations. The EU-funded project titled “The protection, promotion and development of the cultural heritage of the northern part of the Stobrawa Rehabilitation and Recreation Zone” breathed new life into many of them. The descriptions in the app are accompanied by photographs and GPS coordinates which make it easier to locate them on the map. Some of them have spherical panoramic images allowing you to peek inside the historic churches. The user can also play voice recordings which make it easier and more interesting to use the app.

The mobile guide to the district of Namysłów has six thematic routes which will take you through the main places of interest in the region, such as the Nature Lovers’ Route or the Wooden Churches Route. The descriptions are accompanied by GPX files which make it easy to reach the places of interest and provide some key information on the route and the local historic objects.

The key element of the app are the field games which will make your visit to the region so much more interesting. Travelling across the Namysłów region and solving riddles and puzzles, you will uncover the fascinating history of many objects, and eventually learn the password of the quest and receive a diploma which you can share in your social media.

The app has three language versions: Polish, English and German. It does require Internet connection to work – you just need to update the data beforehand.
