104.1 FM office and studio is located in Franklin/Macon County, North Carolina. With a full-service format that focuses on local news, sports, weather and community events. Broadcasting 24 hours daily, 7 days per week, we’re Western North Carolina Country – WNCC. The WNCC format consists of heavy local news and information focused on the residents of Macon, Jackson and Swain Counties, North Carolina and the Cherokee Indian Reservation. The emphasis is always local. ABC News is heard at the top of every hour. Local News is heard at 7:06 a.m., 8:10 a.m., 12:04 p.m. and 5:04 p.m. WNCC is the station residents in Western North Carolina can depend on for up to date and accurate weather information.
