Ratings and Reviews
View once video
I think this is a great idea, if people would like to send private videos or photos. The only problem I have is that people are still able to take screenshots and screen recordings and notify the other person. If WhatsApp was able to use the method that Snapchat uses, that will be a great W for WhatsApp. But otherwise, loving the new update!
Search Query Failure
In the view status section, previous version was able to search a user but this recent version is unable to search and show results. When you search a contact on the status sections it keeps showing no result found even when you can manually scroll and find the contact on which the status was updated.
It was a nice feature to search than scroll a list of contacts when you are interested in viewing a status from a specific contact..
September Update is the Worst
Honestly the September 2023 update is the worst I wish I could role back, there’s no many key features that they removed which now make it absolutely annoying.
For starters they removed the search bar from statuses, now you can’t search for an individual when you want to find their status.
Secondly, they removed 3D Touch capability from the statuses where you could view a status without actually opening it.
Furthermore, when you click on “My status” you’d go to a menu where all the statuses you’ve posted are listed and you could see the number of views or delete that specific status update from there. That has also been removed.
Meta, can you do better? If not let us come and give you good innovations because what is happening now is not customer centric.
You could have added all the new features without removing those.
