Description
This is the new app for ECOBICI, Mexico City’s public bike system.
ECOBICI’s evolution has begun. You can now access more than 9k bikes and 687 state-of-the-art stations.
Just plan, unlock, and ride. With the ECOBICI app, you can:
- Choose a plan, or switch plans
- Find stations near you, and check their bike availability in real time
- Easily unlock a bike at the port
- Enjoy unlimited 45-minute rides
- Get confirmation after successfully locking a bike
- Review your ride history
- Easily link your MI card
ECOBICI connects with the Health app and sends ride durations so your pedaling counts towards your health goals.
ECOBICI is ideal for short rides. It also lets you communicate with other means of transportation. You can find bike lanes on the map, and just go places easily.

Ojalá pronto implementen eco bici en más alcaldías
Caótica
Tiene MUCHOS problemas, uno luego ya tiene el viaje y su tiempo planeado, y para tomar una bici ya diario es un problema distinto. En colonia del Valle o la Roma nunca hay bicis en las estaciones. Aveces llegas y al quererla desbloquear, la bicicleta se queda trabada y tarda entre 1 a 5 minutos para dártela. Aveces también la entregas y el botón verde se prende, pero en la app no la a registrado y si te pasas de los 45 min te empiezan a robar dinero, entonces debo regresar a la estación y medio mover la bici para que la app también la registre. Aveces o más bien muy seguido la app se cierra y cuando quieres ver cuánto tiempo llevas, hay que iniciar sesión de nuevo, y así te van aplicando retrasos para que te pases de los 45 min y te cobren cada que puedan!
La verdad para mi gusto deja mucho que desear este servicio. También la mayoría de las bicis no les sirven los frenos o la campana 🔔 aveces están rotas, etc.
Siempre falla
Tarda en desbloquear las bicis y a veces me sigue corriendo el tiempo hasta por horas a pesar dr que la regrese en tiempo
