Most poker odds/equity calc apps are nowhere as powerful as PokerCruncher. Some don’t even support random hands (let alone hand ranges), some don’t let you enter hands for multiple players, some make an incomplete attempt at hand ranges, …

PokerCruncher is the full real deal, and has a clean and easy-to-use interface.

Poker is a game of incomplete information; we need to think in terms of *ranges of hands*. PokerCruncher surpasses the standard features, e.g. range equity breakdown heat maps and hand combo stats. Bad calculations

I compared with another app and this app is not giving correct values and the other is free and I pay for this one

Thanks for sending us your example scenario via email; I've appended its export-text and calculation results from the app below. As we explained to you on email, and as I had guessed in my first reply, there is no bug/problem in the app here; the app is giving the right results.

Note that you have set DealTo = Turn. This means there's only 1 more card to go in this example (because the flop cards are assigned). If you had set DealTo to the normal/default value "River", then there would be 2 more cards to go, which of course makes a big difference in the results. You may not understand the "DealTo" setting; this could explain why you think there's a bug.

Or maybe the first time you set up this scenario you assigned the Ace-Spade in the AA hand. This would give Player1 a flush draw, which also would completely change the results.

These are just guesses; we don't know why you think there's a bug, or thought there's a bug. The burden of proof is on you. If you still think there's a calculation bug then please give/send your scenario's export-text, or you can copy/paste it right into your review for all to see. Otherwise, without proof/evidence, your "bad calculations" review carries zero weight.

Note that this app is used by many thousands of serious players around the world. It's discussed and used heavily in poker discussion forums. It's used by poker pros and coaches/teachers, who have now started using PokerCruncher in their videos and teaching material (for examples see the "Featured Teachers" section on our tutorial & videos webpage). The point is, with such wide and serious usage, it's very unlikely that there's a serious and obvious bug on a simple scenario like you gave. Of course any software can have bugs, and if there is one we will fix it right away. It's just that it's unlikely, especially on a simple scenario like yours, which is why I guessed right away (correctly) that the mistake here is on your side.

Hello,
Our assessment is, you are most probably in error, not the app. Can you please post/send your example scenario (the scenario text) where this app is giving the wrong result? Many thousands of people are using this app and the calculations have been correct for many years. I bet the mistake is on your side e.g. you are not understanding a feature of the app correctly. E.g. maybe you have the "Deal-To" setting set to Flop/Turn, instead of the normal/default "River"; this will affect the stats quite a lot of course. Regards, -RJ, PokerCruncher, LLC
