Description
Aqara Home is an app for smart home automation and control. With Aqara Home, you can:
1.
control Aqara accessories anywhere and anytime where there is Internet access;
2.
create homes and rooms and assign accessories to the rooms;
3.
control your Aqara accessories and check the status of connected appliances. For example:
*adjust the brightness of lights and check the power consumption of home appliances;
*monitor the temperature, humidity and air pressure;
*detect water leak, and human movement;
4. create Automations to automate your home. For example:
*set a timer to turn on or off an appliance connected to a smart plug;
*use a Door and Window Sensor to trigger lights: turn on lights automatically when the door opens;
5.
create Scenes to control multiple accessories. For example, add a Scene to turn on multiple lights and fans;
6.
ask Siri to control HomeKit supported Aqara accessories and user defined Scenes;
Aqara Home app supports following Aqara accessories: Aqara Hub, Smart Plug, Wireless Remote Switch, LED Light Bulb, Door and Window Sensor, Motion Sensor, Temperature and Humidity Sensor, Vibration Sensor, and Water Leak Sensor. Please see www.aqara.com for more details.

Improving, but still have room for improvement
In brief, I really like how the UI being polished since last few updates. It also set apart itself from MiHome app, which for me is good thing. It doesn’t need to be similar. I see few important features still missing in action: Dark Mode, Geofencing and support to old device (Camera Hub G1). Please keep it up. Thank you.

All good except for never ending app notification badges
App is good, nice UI and design.
I have a smart door lock, which the app keeps pushing notification badges on the app for every single activities for the door lock, unlocking, locking, open, open for too long, etc etc. Everyday the Aqara app icon on my phone is with a red badge with some numbers, if I left it for few days, then it’ll accumulated to hundreds of notifications badges. I only need notification when the door unlocked, probably when it is on away mode; if I’m already home, I don’t need all these notification badges. I can just refer to the cloud log for all activities, the notification badges are just pointless. Please rectify this thanks.
Unable to join home
After change phone, unable to join previous home. The invitation email is not send to recipient and even copy the link url, recipient still failed to join home with error “operation failed”. My issue was resolved after the Aqara support team assists me with detailed guidance. The error was because I’m not joining the same region as the inviter. A very helpful, quick response and professional support, excellent service!
