Sync with other fitness tracker

It would be better if the apps could sync directly with other fitness tracker i.e huawei honor band instead of via apple health..there are some glitches when syncing via huawei health-apple health-bookdoc..Pls also made so that we can view total steps we have achieved since signed in with bookdoc

Hi! Thanks for your feedback. Currently Huawei Health does not open its integration to third parties which is why our users have to sync their Huawei Health data to Apple Health first then with BookDoc app. As Apple Health has its own algorithm to combine steps from both Huawei Health and your iPhone, sometimes the steps synced with BookDoc may not be exactly the same as what's shown on Huawei Health. Nonetheless, this is the best option available for our users so far until Huawei Health decides to open up integration to their app.As for your other suggestion, we will escalate to our tech team so that they can include in the future development plan. Lack of flexibility and support

BookDoc is so inflexible
I recently had an issue with my I-phone Health app which wasn’t working and couldn’t sync with BookDoc for my Steps challenge. I took the time to troubleshoot and even went to an Apple store to seek help, but to no avail. The last recorded data was on 22 Oct 2022; thereafter no update of the steps I took daily. I then noticed that my I-Watch fitness icon was recording actual steps taken; but it didn’t sync with the Health app on my phone. I then took the trouble to record manually the steps taken for 26 Oct 2022; and unfortunately did not take a photo of proof. But I wrote down the actual steps taken on that day. I called BookDoc to check if they would allow my steps to be recorded manually as I wasn’t able to show proof of the steps as indicated. BookDoc was not at all flexible and shot down my request!PIDM has been on the Steps challenge with BookDoc for a while now, and I would expect some flexibility given for cases like these where one cannot sync their app to reflect the steps taken (it’s an app error, not the fault of the individual).Now, the steps taken on 26 Oct 2022 is just going to waste and I am not able to contribute to PIDM’s step challenge due to this inflexibility by BookDoc.I am totally disappointed and disheartened by BookDoc.

BookDoc is so inflexible

Lost all my achievement Medals

Yesterday on 14 May 2023, the BookDoc apps updated and then I found out it can’t be open after update, then restarted my phone hopefully it will work. Unfortunately it didn’t work. I need to uninstall the apps then reinstall the apps, open it then I need to sign-up again, I put in my password it said invalid and I need to change my password. Successful to change the password then I went to check on my account info all info are still the same, however all my achievements medals was lost. Please recover all my records especially my achievements medals. The apps also having some issue when I try to refresh the apps it always indicated the internal server problems.

Unlike 42Race, Bookdoc needs to be opened every day. It cannot sync with the previous days' steps if the app is closed, leading to the average steps per month reduced significantly. If you forgotten to open the app a few days, you will loose your status next month for sure.I tried to reinstall but no luck.42Race is better as the previous days' steps can be retrieved from Apple Health although you didn't opened it for certain time. Too bad all the Ministry of Health Malaysia's Steps campaign are using Bookdoc, we cannot complete those challenges. And 42Race mainly is for Singaporean 😢
