Get things done & can be better

This mobile banking app is not the best but I’d said it’s fairly good, it gets most things done, I could make report of lost card and immediately it’s blocked, and replacement card sent. Good view of the delivery status of your card, and I’m able to use the digital card while waiting for the physical card to be arrived. Job well done on that.

However, the integration of mobile & internet banking can be improved, i.e.: the portfolio program promotions, these should be mobile optimised than directing me to the internet banking site, loading time is not up to expectation.

But overall, I’d said it’s a good app and easy to use. In fact, it’s better than the No. 1 bank in Malaysia (much better).

Very poor emergency response support systems

Long review but it’s important to understand why.

My phone has recently broke (completely destroyed with no way to fix) so was forced to switch to a backup. Tried to login to my account on the backup but it required SC Mobile Key to access. Tried to call both numbers provided but only the 1st one was any helpful. Got a PIN to login but it did NOT work when keyed in.

No operators were available to help. Instead, the robot operator stated that since I have access to internet and mobile banking (I do NOT) my situation is NOT IMPORTANT enough for them to address personally and that the line was only for emergencies. Would personally argue that losing access to my account is very much an emergency but I digress.

Then, I tried to use Browser-based internet banking but the page was completely useless. Redirected me to download the app, which as mentioned earlier, is locked out. Now, I’m stuck unable to check my account or clear credit card debt. What do I do Standard Chartered? Is anyone from your side going to help me or do I watch helplessly as my credit score goes down because your app does not have enough redundancies?

Tldr; app does not have enough support systems to regain access if original phone breaks down. Phone operators and online banking website are completely useless. Am now stuck completely unable to access account. What do?

Nota user friendly app

Ive only been using it for a month since my cred card was approved and it’s been the most confusing app ive ever used… the interfaces are confusing. I do expect to view my statement due in the app itself rather than having to view it on a web browser… other than that, i found myself not knowing how to navigate around it. Many times i have to call customer service for assistance and pleaseeeee u know how long we will have to wait.

I beg you to please improve the whole app ASAP. i swear i just wanna cancel my cred card just bcs of the app. Please please please! The experience has been very frustrating.
